Making Music - The Duo

Silverwood Flute and Guitar Duo was formed in 1987 by Helen-Louise Baker (flute) and Fiona Harrison (guitar) whilst they were studying at the Royal College of Music, London.   Since then they have performed recitals together  throughout the UK.

Helen and Fiona share the common joy of making music and communicating it to others.   They have an extraordinary rapport whilst playing together which comes across in their music.

As well as being established as a recital duo, their combined experience playing music for special occasions is also vast, covering venues such as the Hilton Hotel Portland Place, The Royal Academy of Art, and The Victoria and Albert Museum.   They have played for private weddings and functions in churches, hotels and approved buildings all over the country.
